Full Timing -
We have lived on the road for six years, with no permanent address, other than a mail forwarding address, no job, no responsibilities. It is one of the best periods of our lives. But then, we not an ordinary couple. What we done was right for us, but is it right for you?
Lots and lots of folks dream of doing what we do -- it's called "full timing" by those who do it.
Latest estimates are that over a million North Americans are full-timers, living permanently in their RVs with no permanent address. Many are retired, but many others work part of the year, just long enough for a 'stash' to keep them going for a few months or a year or so.
We sold our home and gave our kids all of our furniture. We traveled most of the United States the first couple of years until we found the areas we enjoy the most, and at times that changes. We now spend the hot summer months in Wisconsin and upper Michigan where it's cooler enjoing boating and fishing on Lake Michigan, and the cold winter months on the Texas Gulf Coast where it's warmer.
Are you a fulltimer or have questions about full timing?
